Finally went and started training with Sasha, and died pretty bad. Then again I would probably play better if I was using an actual table to play on instead of lying on a hotel sofa. Also I’m majorly impressed by how much of an emotional reaction I got from seeing Sasha’s memory vault, it’s a fantastic little piece of storytelling.
Also, a question for people who know more about the game than me: is Scott C the one who did the illustrations for the memory vault sequences? I know he was the main artist for the game and the illustrations have quite a few elements of his style, but I want to know for sure.

Yeah I am pretty crap with the controls, too, which was okay until the last level.
I have to admit though it’s led to some really unintentionally hilarious moments, such as when I accidentally made poor Raz hang over a ledge and hadn’t been introduced to the jump/drop controls yet so I had no idea how to get him out of that situation, and he just hung there for a minute or so while I cracked up over the absurdity of what was happening.
… UH—
AWESOME!!
aw man I hated this part in Resident Evil

I’m just going to stare at this for a couple hours and try to comprehend what series of events led this young man to decide this journal post was a good idea.

Ahh I love that game! I’ve played it twice so far (but I haven’t beaten it yet because the last level is HARD). My favorite level is the Milkman Conspiracy. IT’S SO GOOD.
I’ve only gone through Basic Braining and wandered around the campsite so far, but I’m super excited about playing it! I’m definitely worried about how I’m going to tackle the last level though, given that I’m already not super great with the controls. I keep apologizing to Raz whenever he yells “Watch it!” when he gets hurt.
IT’S JUST TOO GOOD MAN
I was worried it wasn’t going to run well on my computer (my computer does not have super great graphics abilities) but it’s doing fine! I keep mixing up the controls though, I am not used to keeping so many specific actions in mind while playing computer games, much less a concept such as camera direction. I plugged in my tablet at one point because I thought I might be able to direct the camera better, but instead it made the camera spin wildly in circles, which was admittedly pretty hilarious.
But anyways, I’m super enjoying the game so far! I’ve been genuinely laughing aloud at a lot of stuff, which I usually don’t do playing games or watching things. Sometimes it’s just because I love Raz’s little animations as he reacts to things or how he keeps trying to talk to the campground wildlife. Also when I get close to rocks on the ground he stares really intently at them like they’re important items, which makes me think that maybe Raz doesn’t quite understand what rocks are and is mystified by them. Raz you are already my favorite ever and I only started this game today. GOOD JOB.
